The Concept
Moro is a study in tension and balance — the solidity of dark hardwood in dialogue with the weightlessness of sheer draped linen. Drawing from the restrained elegance of Asian hospitality architecture, the bed translates a resort-like sense of enclosure into a piece designed for the North American luxury residential market.
A low-profile platform base grounds the structure with quiet authority, while four clean-sectioned posts rise to frame an intimate canopy — a room within a room. Proportions and joinery were developed for high-volume manufacturing in Southeast Asia, maintaining design integrity at scale.
