Project: Transitional Dining Table

Client: Andes International Inc. (USA)

Role: Industrial Design & Product Development

Concept: Transitional DT reinterprets the traditional trestle table through a contemporary lens. A clean, expansive top in dark hardwood rests above two angled A-frame legs, connected by a low horizontal stretcher that unifies the structure into a single architectural gesture.

The design sits deliberately between tradition and modernity, combining familiar proportions with restrained detailing and a monolithic expression.

Traditional woodworking techniques were paired with considered engineering to accommodate the natural movement of solid wood, ensuring long-term stability while allowing the table to be assembled in just a few simple steps.
